Her storytelling provides readers an escape from reality, taking them on incredible journeys alongside her characters. Living with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Addie infuses her narratives with depth drawn from her experiences of pain and resilience. These experiences foster a profound appreciation for the broken and mended, highlighting the necessity of supporting those who feel out of place. Addie's writing welcomes individuals grappling with their struggles, subtly nodding to social justice themes while celebrating life's 'ordinary' moments.

A. Ann Sigafus specializes in fantasy romance novels, particularly with a deep dive into world-building. She aims to challenge readers not only to question their world but also to explore who they are at their core. 'The Veil Between' is the first installment in her 'The Realms of Destiny' trilogy and marks her debut full-length fantasy romance novel.

As a mother of four beautiful children, A. Ann Sigafus also shares her home with a lively assortment of animals, who occasionally make their way into her novels. When she's not writing, she enjoys playing with the ducks and chickens in her backyard, listening to audiobooks, crafting, sipping wine, and participating in book clubs. Her favorite time of year is the fall equinox, when it’s believed that the veil between worlds is thinnest. She eagerly lights fall candles even when it’s still warm outside and puts up spooky decorations far too early—after all, why not indulge in the things that bring happiness?
